I believe healing comes from growth in the therapy room.
For those with anxiety, OCD, and trauma, there are unique challenges that come with these experiences. Whether you're struggling with intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, or obsessive-compulsive behaviors, it’s hard to go at it alone! You may feel like it’s you against the world and that nobody truly understands the experience you’ve had. Together, we'll work towards creating a future that's filled with hope, resilience, and strength.
In the counseling space together, we may use some modalities like Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and/or Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Together, we’ll tailor these approaches to fit you, your goals, and your needs.
In my eyes, the foundation of therapy is the relationship between a counselor and the person seeking counseling. We’ll be teammates, working collaboratively to define your goals, build skills, and meet you where you are. Through skills training, building trust, and honoring your specific needs and goals, we can work towards getting you where YOU want to go. There are no expectations in the counseling space – whether you’re a first-time therapy goer or an experienced counseling client, my goal is to be a support and safe space for you to explore your needs.
